Dog-n-Jog: Sunday, June 14 on the Country Club Plaza. Online registration begins April 14 at hsgkc.org. Dog-n-Jog is a 1 and 2 mile run/walk for you and your dog.
Volunteer orientation classes: every second Saturday of the month from 10 am to noon at the shelter, 5445 Parallel Parkway, KCK.
Satellite Pet Adoptions: typically held the first and third Saturday each month, 11 am - 3 pm at Petco (95th & Quivira in Overaland Park). Check the events page at hsgkc.org for an up-to-date listing.
