The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and Kansas Attorney General Steven Six recently visited the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City to announce a $5,000 reward program they are now offering. This reward program is for information about dog and/or cock fighting that leads to a conviction.
The HSUS has already paid out 38 of these rewards nationwide. Dog fighting is a felony and cock fighting is a misdemeanor in Kansas. To report information about dog or cock fighting call 202-452-1100.
